The Biburg day care center starts the new year under new ownership.

In October, the municipal council decided to hand over responsibility to the Diakonie Oberbayern West.

Alling – After persistent discrepancies and personnel problems, the municipal council weighed up thoroughly and conscientiously and decided to change the owner.

Mayor Stefan Joachimsthaler paid the new team a visit: "After the first few days of daycare, I wanted to hear how things got off to a good start and where we can provide support." In the warm winter sun, he spoke to Sophia Birner and Carola Laubenstein from of the Diakonie and the new day-care center manager Tanja Schreyegg.

Tanja Schreyegg praised the positive atmosphere among the educators who were taken over from the previous team.

"They are motivated and bring their ideas and experiences to the restart." She praised the "beautiful house in Biburg and the calm and incredibly nice children.

Tanja Schreyegg already has many ideas for organizing day-to-day life in the day-care center: she would like to take part in village life again with the children and go on excursions.

The daycare team also suggested using the community center with sufficient space for the children to do gymnastics and run around.

There you can also contact the parents in a Corona-compliant and yet personal manner.

Mayor Joachimsthaler promised to look into this.

"We deliberately opened the house for the parents again from the first day - even if that is not usual in Corona times.

You should be able to get to know us right away," said Diakonie Division Manager Sophia Birner.

The parents are grateful for this, because this allows for discussions with the educators and you get to see something of day-to-day life in the day-care center.

Educators from neighboring daycare centers run by the same provider are currently supporting the daycare center in Biburg.

According to Tanja Schreyegg, they are still looking for teachers and nannies.

Schreyegg: "We want to form a solid, harmonious team in which everyone feels comfortable." Further information is available on the Internet at www.diakonieffb.de or on the homepage of the municipality, www.alling.de.
