The Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, in cooperation with the relief subsidiary agencies, continued the relief operation for the displaced families from the southern neighborhoods of the city of Hasaka towards the safe area in the city center as a result of the state of insecurity and the bombings carried out by the American occupation and the “Qasd” militia in the vicinity of the Industrial Secondary Prison.

The Director of Social Affairs and Labor Ibrahim Khalaf stated in a statement to SANA reporter that Al-Mustafa Mosque was opened in Al-Salihiya neighborhood in Al-Hasakah city yesterday evening to house the displaced, in addition to the other six centers that were opened since the beginning of the displacement of the people as a result of the American bombing of the southern neighborhoods of the city.

Khalaf pointed out that work has been divided among NGOs to provide food and health aid, hygiene supplies, clothes, baby milk, mattresses and blankets to the targeted families, stressing that the directorate and relief agencies are still on alert and fully prepared to provide all possible forms of support and assistance to the displaced families.

Khalaf indicated that the pace of people's displacement from the southern neighborhoods decreased with the entry of the sixth day of the state of security chaos and clashes that take place from time to time.

The southern neighborhoods of the city of Al-Hasakah witnessed a movement of displacement since the 21st of this month towards the city center through the safe corridors opened by the Syrian Arab Army to secure the people who left their homes due to the threats of the “Qasd militia” and the bombing carried out by the American occupation forces in the area under the pretext of pursuing terrorists from the “ISIS” organization They escaped from the industrial secondary prison in the Ghweran neighborhood.
