Members of the Maysaloon Police Department in Aleppo arrested two people who traded household diesel while they were unloading the fuel from a tanker and placing it in a warehouse in an abandoned building in the Sayed Ali neighborhood.
According to a statement of the Ministry of Interior, which SANA received a copy of, through follow-up and monitoring, members of the Maysaloun Police Department in Aleppo were able to arrest one of the transporters of domestic diesel, accompanied by another person, while they were emptying the fuel oil from the tanker, and confiscated more than 3,500 liters of diesel and 50 liters of gasoline and a sum of money amounting to 5 million and 139 thousand pounds.
The police also confiscated, according to the statement, 334 kilograms of sugar hidden in an office belonging to the arrested, and informed the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, and they were duly handed over the confiscations and organizing the necessary control to bring the arrested to the competent judiciary.
