At around 7.15 a.m., the 61-year-old driver of a public bus drove on Wangener Straße in the direction of Altostraße.
Shortly after the former bakery, a 19-year-old from Starnberg came towards him with a Chrysler Voyager.
According to initial findings, the bus driver probably drove too far in the middle of the lane, which is why the Chrysler scraped the left side mirror along the bus.
He left a several meter long scratch on the bus.
Only the exterior mirror of the car was damaged.
The driver then informed the bus company about the accident.
The dispatcher there then called the police, but could not say anything more specific about what happened.
However, she stated that the driver told her he was injured.
Passengers should also have been injured.
On site, the driver complained of shock and chest pains, which is why he was taken to the hospital for an examination.
The four passengers were unharmed.
Due to the unclear reporting picture, a large number of fire brigades and rescue services were alerted.
The emergency vehicles were parked up to the junction with Altostrasse.
