“I break with you, dad”: Jungle camper Althof’s son speaks up after a sad statement

Peter Althof commented on his broken family relationship in the jungle camp.

Now his son spoke up about the loss of contact.

Jungle camp 2022: Peter Althof's son broke up with him

Peter Althof has also not had any contact with anyone from his family for three years.

It's about his son Dennis Gröbe.

The ex-celebrity bodyguard explained in a conversation with camper Filip Pavlovic that he reminded him of his son, who broke up with him.

"I think about it often.

It's obvious if you see a similar boy here now, exactly the same build.

My son is a boxer or has boxed and is now almost the same age as he is.

Then I associate that with him," says Peter Althof.

However, he did not explain exactly how the break-up happened.

He only said: "He hurt me a couple of times." And: "My son is also a stubborn person and also did certain things that are not respectful." Althof further explained: "He then said to me: 'I'm breaking with you, papa'."

Peter Althof's son spoke to RTL about the statements.

The broadcaster's website states that Althof and his mother separated when the son was six years old.

Until he was a teenager, Dennis would have been in regular contact with his father.

Dennis Gröbe is quoted as follows: “He was always a bon vivant.

He was seldom at home.

But that is not the reason why it broke.

You can have a lot of fun with him - as a buddy - but he often didn't know how to be a father, namely to be there more for your child .

He wanted to clarify that directly with his father.

Jungle camp 2022: Althof son wishes him the crown

"I'm not mad at him at all.

But he didn't have to address it in the jungle*, if it bothers him so much, he could have talked to me a long time ago," explains Dennis Gröbe.

He wishes him the best for the jungle: "I wish my father the best of luck and I wish him the crown."
