Police have found actor Morgan Stevens, 70, dead in the kitchen of his home, TMZ
has reported .
The first investigations suggest that the interpreter, known mainly for his roles in
Melrose Place
and
Fama
,
would have died of natural causes.
There are no signs of violence and it is ruled out that it is a suicide.
The agents found him after a neighbor reported that he had been missing for several days.

Born in Tennessee, Stevens stood out in the 1990s for his work on the small screen.
He played Nick Diamond, the Parezi family lawyer on
Melrose Place,
which aired from 1992 to 1999. He also starred for two seasons on
Fame
, where he played Professor David Reardon from 1982 to 1984.
