The latest decision will be postponed until February 20, shortening the nomination period to 14 days, which is the lower limit of legal requirements and is also different from the 16-day arrangement in recent sessions.

On the day of the election, the polling time will be two hours, after which the votes will be counted manually.

The Election Management Committee will hold a press conference at 11:00 this morning (27th) to announce the guidelines for the election of the chief executive, and explain the relevant regulations on election procedures, campaign expenses and advertisements.
