Novak Djokovic is scheduled to return to action at the ATP Tour event in Dubai next month.
The organizers of the ATP 500 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships confirmed this Thursday that the Serb has entered the tournament that begins on Monday, February 21.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion has yet to play competitively this year, after being deported from Australia earlier this month over his Covid-19 vaccination status, ahead of the season-opening Australian Open.

Djokovic, who is not vaccinated, has been a five-time champion in Dubai.

According to the National Emergency Disaster and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA) of the United Arab Emirates, unvaccinated travelers can enter the country if they are medically exempt from receiving a covid-19 vaccine, among others.
