Gaden-Mitte: The application phase for plots is ongoing

For two weeks you can still apply for low-priced plots of land in the community of Eitting in the Gaden-Mitte development area.

These are the prices and conditions.

Gaden - Home is the most beautiful place - but owning a home is almost impossible for many people in view of the skyrocketing building land prices. The municipality of Eitting in Gaden is now awarding twelve subsidized residential building plots. Low-income and less well-off people should be given the opportunity. Interested parties must apply by Friday, February 11 and fill out a questionnaire. These guidelines are popularly known as the "local model".

In the Gaden-Mitte development area, there are nine spaces from 343 to 588 square meters.

Six areas with semi-detached houses and three areas with single houses can be built on.

The price per square meter is 270 euros plus 60 euros for the development, so all in all 330 euros.

For a 400 square meter property, for example, that would be 132,000 euros.

In addition, there are amounts for sewage, water and electricity supply.

For the canal, the prices are 5426 euros (per semi-detached house) or 7461 euros per area for a detached house.

The costs for water and electricity are calculated separately by the suppliers and disposal companies.

A further three building lots with 390, 484 (each for a semi-detached house) and 616 square meters (single house) are available in Gaden Kirchpoint. The property price here is 306.45 euros per square meter plus 23.55 euros for development. That's also a total of 330 euros. The AZV connection costs of 5394, 5425 or 7931 euros must also be paid separately. Here, too, the contributions for water and electricity are billed separately.

If you are interested in an area, however, you must provide detailed information.

In addition to personal information, ownership and assets or income from 2018 to 2020 must be recorded.

Questions about children, possible disabilities or the need for care, local connection or volunteer work must also be answered.

In addition, the municipality requires financing confirmations of 500,000 euros for a single house or 400,000 euros for a semi-detached house.

The council decides who gets the final vote.

Another decision made by the committee was not to sell all municipal areas in Gaden-Mitte at once.

Only the eastern side of the site is now being sold.

The municipality will retain the southern plots for the time being.

A number of applications for the advertised twelve plots have already been received, confirms Mayor Reinhard Huber (Ortsliste Reisen).

The applicants mainly come from the district within a radius of around 15 kilometers from Gaden.

According to Huber, there has not yet been a decision on when the other areas should be advertised.

The municipality also wants to be able to offer discounted plots of land at a later date.

She owns a total of 19 properties, including 14 semi-detached houses, four detached houses and one apartment building.
