In Thuringia, the strictest corona hotspot rules will only apply if the incidence is stable at over 2000 instead of the previous 1500.
This is provided for in a draft for a new Corona regulation that is available to the German Press Agency.
However, the lower threshold of 1,000 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week should remain.
Erfurt – The rules are still to be discussed in the state parliament and can still change.
So far, the hotspot measures have provided for 2G plus to be introduced in the catering trade, for example, if the incidence has exceeded 1000 on three consecutive days.
At the highest threshold of currently 1500, restaurants have to close completely.

In the future, this last step should only come from the value 2000.
The rules should apply from the day after that after the three-day exceedance of the limit values became known.
In Thuringia, all districts and urban districts are currently below these limit values.
The planned ordinance provides for another innovation: Below the hotspot values, the curfew in the catering trade is to be abolished again.
So far, restaurants and pubs with a restaurant license are only allowed to open until 10 p.m.
The curfew should only apply again when the 1000 incidence is exceeded for three days, but then only from midnight – that’s what the draft says.
