The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the British ambassador to Tehran and informed him of its official protest against the statements of his country's Foreign Minister Elizabeth Terrace regarding the Vienna negotiations on reviving the nuclear agreement.

Ibrahim Azizi, deputy head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, said, "The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the British ambassador to Tehran and informed him of its official protest against his country's foreign minister's statements regarding the Vienna negotiations, and it was emphasized that such statements would not be repeated."

The Trust had claimed that Iran "is responsible for the possibility of the Vienna negotiations reaching a dead end," warning that "all options are on the table."

Azizi pointed out that the negotiations "are taking place strongly based on the three principles of dignity, wisdom and interest, and that the Iranian foreign policy strategy is based on these principles, and wisdom must be taken into account in any decision and political behavior of the country."

Yesterday, Iran reiterated its quest to reach a sustainable agreement in the Vienna negotiations, stressing that there is no deadline for reaching an agreement within the framework of these negotiations.
