Denmark has decided to withdraw its hundred soldiers from Mali after the transitional government again demanded their departure, the head of diplomacy in the Scandinavian country announced on Thursday January 27.

The ruling generals sent a clear message where they reaffirmed that Denmark is not welcome in Mali.
We do not accept it and for this reason we have decided to repatriate our soldiers
,” Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod said after a meeting in parliament.
