The soccer star from FC Bayern is involved in the redevelopment plans for the Forsthaus Valepp.

However, there are still a few hurdles to be overcome.

Tegernsee/Valepp – Till Schweiger by the lake, Manuel Neuer in the mountains?

It could happen that way.

The FC Bayern goalkeeper and citizen of Tegernsee is on board with the plans for the Forsthaus Valepp recently presented to the Schliersee building committee (we reported).

This is reported by Bunte and corresponds to information from the Tegernseer Zeitung/Münchner Merkur.

The rumor that Neuer and his business partner have already bought the property is untrue.

State forests give Forsthaus Valepp a hereditary lease

The fact is: the Bavarian State Forests, as the owner, have been looking for a solution for a long time to fill the house, which has been empty for years, with life again. After a simple lease and other solutions failed, the leasehold model came into play. This allows the tenant to realize their own ideas, while the land remains in the possession of the Free State, and the entire property reverts to the owner after the contract period has expired.

Because the building, built in 1841, is a listed building, the leaseholder's imagination is limited.

And the municipality of Schliersee, on whose sovereign territory the forester's lodge is located, also has a say in matters of building law.

The project so far has not yet been able to persuade the building committee to say yes.

Neuer and his partner still have some convincing to do here.

The worries of the people from Schliersee related to the topic of monument protection, the concept and a few structural details.

Incidentally, no names were given to the committee members before the decision was made.

Applicant Johannes Rabl: "We want a mountain inn in the best sense of the word"

The applicant in question is Johannes Rabl, who runs the Leeberghof in Tegernsee, among other places.

The people of Schlierseer want to counteract worries that a hotel or exclusive event gastronomy could be built in Valepp.

"We are pursuing a cultural-historical concept for the mountain inn that does justice to Valepp - with its traditions and history."

The forester's house should be what it always was: "A mountain inn in the best sense, a meeting place where people from Schlierseer and Tegernseer meet and vacationers from near and far."

An outbuilding is required for the catering area

In order to meet modern demands - and this starts with hygiene regulations - parts of the gastronomic area would have to be planned separately.

You need an outbuilding for that.

In the further steps, Rabl would like to involve all sides closely, from the authorities to the Bund Naturschutz.

He mentions regionality, sustainability and climate neutrality as further keywords.

Has been empty for years: the Forsthaus Valepp.

The plans of Manuel Neuer and his partner will be discussed again soon.

Before Neuer & Co. are awarded the contract, the authorities and community take another close look

Despite the rejected preliminary decision, Neuer and his partners are far from out of the game.

Next, municipal councils, specialist authorities and state forests come together at the currently snow-covered forester's lodge and discuss the project.

All sides are keen that the forest house is made accessible to the public again within a "sensitive, nature-friendly concept".

If the state forests agree and if the building authorities say yes, there could be a contract in the spring.
