No more "late shift"

Because Lisa Fitz had claimed in her "late shift" solo that the vaccination had already caused 5,000 deaths in the EU, Südwestrundfunk (SWR) removed the corresponding episode of the program from the media library.

Now the 70-year-old has drawn consequences and no longer wants to appear on SWR.

The vaccination requirement is the "wet dream" of the pharmaceutical industry, Lisa Fitz had stormed in a solo in the cabaret show "Spätschicht" at the end of November, while 5000 people in the EU alone had died as a result of the vaccination.

Statements that – after severe criticism of Fitz and those responsible – prompted Südwestrundfunk (SWR) to remove the episode from the media library (we reported).

For her part, the cabaret artist draws consequences and no longer wants to appear on the show.

This was announced by the SWR on Thursday.

It is with great regret that Lisa Fitz has decided not to be part of the satirical show in the future, the public broadcaster said.

"One would have liked to have continued the many years of very stimulating cooperation with her," says Clemens Bratzler, information director of the SWR.

After the broadcast and criticism of the broadcaster, Südwestrundfunk decided to remove the episode from the ARD media library because the contribution contained a false statement of fact. According to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the number given by Fitz is only suspected. No causal relationship between vaccination and deaths has been established. At first, the editors took the position that Fitz's appearance was left as it was in order to "prove the plurality of opinions occurring in the 'late shift'".

At the request of our newspaper, the cabaret artist justified her exit on Thursday with the "breach of trust" by the editors of the "late shift" and information director Bratzler.

After decades of working together, she would have wished "that Südwestrundfunk would stand behind me, give me the opportunity to make a constructive correction and then we could make a statement together".

However, there are many nice, loyal employees at the station "up to and including managerial positions, and I would like to thank them very much for their cooperation".
