The tribunal justified the decision by saying that notice was given only about 11 hours before the start of the school day in a way that does not leave enough time for a hearing in the presence of both parties • The hearing will take place today at 14:00

The Labor Court in Tel Aviv issued a restraining order tonight (Wednesday to Thursday) against the decision of the secretary general of the Teachers' Union, Yaffa Ben-David, to suspend studies, in protest of the abolition of isolation in the education system.

The tribunal justified the decision by giving notice to the public of teachers and kindergarten teachers only about 11 hours before the start of the school day in a way that does not leave enough time for a hearing in the presence of both parties.

The tribunal scheduled a hearing in the presence of the parties at 2 p.m.

As you may recall, Ben-David informed the teachers last night not to come to the schools, this is the decision to abolish the isolations in the education system.

Ben-David wrote to teaching staff: "In light of the government's decision exposing you to the corona virus in a way that endangers your health and in the face of thousands of requests from you, protest measures will be taken tomorrow - schools and kindergartens should not be visited tomorrow."

Ben-David added: "Special education institutions will hold regular classes. In special education classes in regular schools, they will join the protest. Please wait for instructions regarding further protest measures."

According to the outline, all students in the entire education system will be required to perform two antigen tests a week - on Sundays and Wednesdays, before arriving on the school day.

After the test, the student or one of the parents is required to report it on the Ministry of Education portal.

A student whose home test result is negative, will come to school for a study routine.

On the other hand, a student whose home test result is positive will not attend school and will be examined at a supervised test station.

If the result of the supervised test is negative - the student will return to the school routine.

If the result of the supervised test is positive, the student will perform five full days of isolation until recovery (subject to home tests on days 4 and 5 and a negative result in both).
