The Hamburg police have banned a demonstration by 11,000 opponents of the Corona measures that was registered for next Saturday.
The reason is again infection protection reasons, said police spokesman Holger Vehren on Thursday of the German Press Agency.
The applicant, an association, put the demo under the motto "Against the mask requirement and other corona measures" and made it clear that it wanted to carry out the demonstration around the Binnenalster without masks.
Hamburg - After he broke off the cooperation talks with the police, he was served with the prohibition order, said Vehren.
Two weeks ago, a large demonstration by opponents of vaccination and corona measures, for which up to 15,000 people were expected in the city center, was banned for reasons of infection control.
Nevertheless, several thousand people later gathered in front of the Kunsthalle, mostly without masks and distance.

The now also banned demo was to follow a similar route as the previous one at the same time and from the same starting point.
Although it was a different applicant, the police classified the meeting as a replacement event, Vehren said.
The applicant had filed an urgent application with the administrative court against the ban on the demo two weeks ago and failed.
There was no possible complaint to the Hamburg Higher Administrative Court.
The applicant for the now banned demo has also announced that it intends to take legal action, said Vehren.
