Those who live in the jungle are not protected even from a storm catastrophe.
Now the jungle camp emergency plan has been revealed if the camp is flooded.
South Africa - In recent years, "I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!" has repeatedly experienced sudden storms.
Rain, storm and flooding for several days.
Also this year, the IBES candidates and the production team on site are not protected from the storm.
When Linda Nobat and Harald Glööckler were supposed to take part in a jungle camp exam, this was canceled a short time later.
The reason for this were strong gusts of wind, which thwarted the challenge.
But the weather is not supposed to improve in the South African jungle camp in the next few days, but rather get worse.
Now an emergency plan is needed.
Jungle camp 2022: Emergency plan revealed - IBES residents must be evacuated
A production employee spoke to
Bild
and revealed what the broadcaster's emergency plan looks like if the IBES residents have to be evacuated due to a storm: "It will be dangerous if it rains for two days in the region. Then the river that runs past the camp threatens to flood!”. Next to the camp there is a steel staircase and a wooden bridge. This takes the jungle camp candidates to a higher level where they can go to safety. "Severe thunderstorms are forecast for the next few days, and not only the numerous trees, but also the unlined steel stairs could be really life-threatening for the campers," explains

Now the IBES residents, the broadcaster and the production team will have to wait and see.
Jungle camp 2022: Ranger warns of mosquitoes - RTL is prepared for weather turbulence
Nevertheless, in the jungle there are not only spiders and snakes, but also a lot of species of insects - like mosquitoes. A ranger was also concerned about what the turbulent weather could bring: “Rain attracts mosquitoes. We currently have a mosquito plague here. And they are considered to be one of the main carriers of malaria in this region,” he continues in the interview. Sender RTL is prepared for everything and made the following statement: "The health and safety of our protagonists and the entire team has always been and is still the top priority. As has been the case since the first season in Australia, those responsible are as well prepared as possible for all weather turbulence thanks to the close exchange with experts.” The jungle camp can be seen on RTL on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. By the way:All news about the show is now also available in our daily jungle camp newsletter.
