Mahrada won a difficult victory over the Norias by one point, 51-50 points, in the match that brought them together on the grounds of Mahrada Sports Hall in the second round of the first-leg of the middle group of the U-16 Basketball League for women under 16 years.
In the first round, Mhardeh defeated Kafrbihm with a score of 47-22 points, while Al-Nawa'ir lost to Salmiya 58-28 points, noting that Mhardeh and Salmiya are currently leading the group with two victories each.
The middle group of the women’s league includes five clubs from the governorates of Hama and Homs: Salamiyah, Mahrada, Kafr Behm, Nawair and Qatina, which play back and forth between them.
