The elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus countryside seized a food factory for tampering with the statement card and setting new production dates and a thread factory for monopolizing the acrylic filament material in a quantity of 26 tons.
The directorate explained in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that its members seized a foodstuffs factory in Hosh Blas, violating fraud and deceit in the statement card, by setting new production dates, as they seized a quantity of one ton of animal butter and a factory for the manufacture of threads in Sahnaya, in violation of monopoly and withholding acrylic filaments from circulation in a quantity of 26 Tons.
The directorate’s agents also seized a factory for making shampoo and cosmetics in Jaramana for violating the possession of expired materials with a quantity of 150 kg of perfumes, according to the statement, which confirmed that dealing with violators is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the new consumer protection law.
