Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement demonstration in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces fired a barrage of bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration, as a result of which a number of Palestinians were shot, including a volunteer in the Red Crescent, and dozens of others suffocated.
Ahmed Jibril, director of the ambulance and emergency center in the Red Crescent in Nablus, said: "The occupation forces targeted an ambulance with bullets, which shattered its rear window."
Every Friday, the village of Beit Dajan witnesses demonstrations against the occupation's plans to seize areas of its lands and establish outposts.
