Greater Paris transport: disruptions over the weekend of January 29 and 30

Major program of maintenance work on the menu this weekend on various RER lines in Ile-de-France. Sound traffic interruptions


RER A.

Traffic is interrupted throughout the weekend between the stations of Sartrouville (Yvelines) and Cergy-le-Haut (Val-d'Oise).

A replacement bus service serving intermediate stations has been set up.

RER B.

Allow extra time to get to the airport.

On Saturday and Sunday, line B trains stop at Aulnay-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis and do not serve Terminal 2 at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.

A replacement bus is put in place.

RER C.

“Major works” weekend on the entire line.

On Saturday and Sunday, traffic is completely interrupted between Viroflay Rive Gauche and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines as well as on the Invalides - Pontoise, Invalides - Massy/Palaiseau (via Pont de Rungis) and Invalides-Juvisy (Essonne) branches.

Replacement bus services and reinforcement of regular bus lines are planned.

Sunday evening, traffic between Paris-Austerlitz and the south of the line will also be interrupted from 10 p.m. in the direction of Dourdan and from 10:45 p.m. in the direction of Etampes in Essonne.

RER D.

Traffic is interrupted all weekend between Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes and replaced by a bus service.

The central section of the line (between Gare de Lyon and Gare du Nord) will also be closed for maintenance work from Saturday from 11 p.m. until Sunday at noon.

The line will end at Gare de Lyon overnight.

The service to the north of the line (towards Creil) will reopen on Sunday, from 9 a.m. from the Gare du Nord, then normal conditions from noon.

RER E.

The service is reduced on Saturday and Sunday on the Chelles-Gournay branch (77/93) of the RER.

Expect every other RER during the day and an early service stop at 10:30 p.m.

On the other branch (Saint-Lazare/Tournan) trains will run at normal daytime hours but only until 10:40 p.m.

Replacement buses are then put in place.

Transilien

Line H.

The service is interrupted between Gare du Nord and Sarcelles-Saint-Brice on the one hand and Ermont-Eaubonne (Val-d'Oise) on the other from Saturday at 10:50 p.m. to Sunday at 8:50 a.m.

Please note: the replacement buses in place leave from the Plaine-Stade de France RER station (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Line J.

Trains do not run all weekend between Saint-Lazare and Poissy in the Yvelines.

Connections are possible by RER A for Poissy or by line L for Houilles.

Line P.

Early closure on the various branches of line P. On Saturday and Sunday, the last train will leave Paris-Est station at 10 p.m. in the direction of Coulommiers, 10:50 p.m. in the direction of Meaux in Seine-et-Marne and 23 hours in the direction of Château-Thierry.

Metro

Line 4.

The work to automate the line (recently extended by two stations to Bagneux) continues and requires the closure of the entire line this Sunday.

Four other full Sunday closures are scheduled by next May.
