The pharmacies in North Rhine-Westphalia can start with corona vaccinations on February 8th.
"From February 1, pharmacies will be able to order vaccines for this," said the chairman of the North Rhine-Westphalia Association of Pharmacists, Thomas Preis, on Friday of the German Press Agency in Düsseldorf.
In principle, all vaccines are also available in pharmacies.
Cologne/Düsseldorf – However, citizens would have to make appointments in advance in order to use the vaccine sparingly.
Depending on the ampoule size, up to 20 doses are in one vessel.

He assumes that by the beginning of March at the latest, every second of the around 4,000 pharmacies in NRW will be able to offer corona vaccinations, said Preis.
The prerequisites are several hours of theoretical and practical training by a doctor and a separate treatment room in the pharmacy.
Only pharmacists, not assistants, vaccinate.
First, second and booster vaccinations are possible.
