The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that a number of roads in the governorates of Damascus countryside, Homs, Hama, Lattakia, Tartous and Sweida are impassable or difficult to pass due to the accumulation of snow and ice formation.
According to the road condition bulletin, which SANA received a copy of this afternoon, the roads (Qatana - Kafr Qouk - Rakhleh), (Hina - Darbel - Arna), (Mazraat Beit Jinn - Harfa), (Hina - Ain al-Sha'ra - Khirbet al-Suda) and ( Arna-Baqasim-Al-Raymah), (Beit Saber-Beit Tema-Kafr Hor-Sasa’a), (Issam-Qal’at Jandal) and the (Zabadani-Bludan) road is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In the Yabroud area, the road (Assal al-Ward-Rankos-Al-Jabbah towards Yabroud) and the roads leading to (Jaba’din-Rankos-Hosh Arab) and the (Ras al-Maarra-Yabroud) road are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In Homs governorate, all roads are passable except for (Maqlis-Dahr al-Qusayr) and (Nazareth near Ali Baidar al-Rafi’-Hob Namira-Jabal al-Sayeh) road with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
In Hama Governorate, all roads are passable except for (Nahr al-Bared-Beit Yashut), (Jorin-Slanfeh), (Al-Qardah-Ain al-Krum-Al-Ghab), (Masyaf-Wadi al-Ayun-Al-Bireh-Qusiya) and (Ain Halaqim-Ain al-Shams-Brashin). ) And (Masyaf - Qadmous Al-Shiha), (Shanin - Oj - Akakir) and (Ain Karam - Ain Faraj Al-Zaytouna - Jbeita) are impassable due to the accumulation of snow, and all roads belonging to the Wadi El-Ayoun region are impassable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow and ice formation.
In Lattakia Governorate, all roads are passable except for (Slanfeh-Broadcasting Station), (Slanfeh-Jobat Bergal-Ain al-Jawzeh), (Al-Muzayra’a-Karm Al-Masara-Gobat Burgal), (Al-Hajar-Levin-Maareen-Batmoush) and (Beit Yashout-Bastawir). - Bashili - Al-Manizla), (Al-Sha'ara - Joubt Barghal - Al-Ghab) and (Al-Markiya - Maqamat Bani Hashem) are impassable due to the accumulation of snow, while the roads (Qarn Hilya - Petrias), (Beit Yashout - Al-Ghab) and (Duwer Baabda - Harf Al-Sari) Impassable with difficulty due to the formation of ice.
In Tartous governorate, all roads are passable except in the Safita area, a public road (Mashta al-Helou-Basera-Bitar) and all roads leading to the (Sibah) sub-district are passable due to the formation of snow, and the road (Broadcasting Station - Jabal al-Nabi Saleh) is passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow, while in the Tartous region Al-Qadmous All roads leading to the Qadmous area and its villages are impassable with difficulty due to the formation of snow. In the Baniyas area, a public road (Ananazah-Dardara-Altun-Al-Jard-Frukhiya-Basramoun) and (Khirbet Al-Sindiah-Al-Shandha-Beit Gash-Sheikh Ali-Al-Majdal) is impassable with difficulty due to the accumulation of Snow and ice formation.
In As-Suwayda Governorate, the roads leading to the Al-Mashnaf district and its villages, the (Al-Mashnaf-Dahr Al-Jabal) road and the (Al-Kafr-Salkhad) road, and all the roads leading to the Salkhad area and its villages are impassable due to the accumulation of snow, and the (Namera-Um Dhabib-Tima-Ghaidah-Namra-Shaqa) road is impassable with difficulty. due to snow accumulation.
