Dear readers,
Emmanuel Macron felt that there was no reason for the Ukrainian crisis to be managed solely between Washington and Moscow.
He has therefore decided that he too will embark on mediation, and will make a quick phone call to Vladimir Putin during the day.
For almost five years that he has been at the Élysée, the head of state has tried to establish a dialogue with the Russian president on many occasions.
Without much success.
Today, he wants to do everything possible to obtain a de-escalation in a crisis that is getting bogged down.
Before the weekend, this missive will introduce you to the new boss of Orange, reveal unpublished poems by Robert Desnos and take you to Antarctica.
All in all, a nice program.
The saying of the day comes to you from Aquitaine and suggests that you get your hands a little dirty: "
For Saint Thomas, plant your potatoes if you have any!"

Have a great day, the weekend is just around the corner!
