"At the junction with Dornierstrasse, he wanted to turn right, but lost control of his car and drove straight into the Ford of a 28-year-old Germeringer parked on Dornierstrasse," says police commissioner Tobias Hollaus. As a result of the impact, the BMW driver pushed the Ford onto the adjacent sidewalk, with the Ford's trailer hitch touching a stone pillar, which then collapsed.

When the traffic accident was recorded by a patrol of the Germering police, it turned out that the person who caused the accident did not have a valid driver's license and that the BMW was also not registered.
