Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied the existence of an escalation in the situation with Russia, indicating that what is being published is "misleading information" and calling on NATO countries not to cause panic in this regard.
Zelensky said in a press conference with a number of international media that "there is no further escalation of tensions with Russia at the moment", but at the same time he did not rule out "such developments in the future."
The Ukrainian president considered that the degree of tensions around Ukraine now is not higher than in the past, acknowledging that “it is the media that spread all this momentum of misinformation, such as saying that we are in a state of war and that the forces are walking along the roads and there is a mobilization,” adding, “This is not true and we do not need To feel this panic.”
Western countries are inflaming tensions over the Ukrainian crisis by promoting allegations about the deployment of Russian forces along the border with Ukraine, which Moscow has repeatedly denied, stressing that what is being promoted in this regard is misleading information.
