Donetsk-Sana
The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine announced that one of its civilians was wounded by mortar shelling by Ukrainian forces.
"A civilian was injured in the Alexandrovka region as a result of the fall of mortar shells from the Ukrainian side," Donetsk Deputy Police Commander Eduard Basurin was quoted by Sputnik news agency as saying, noting that NATO supports Ukraine with weapons "and they are trying to kill our people."
Although the two sides of the crisis in Ukraine reached agreements in Minsk under the auspices of the Normandy Group in 2014 and 2015 to resolve the crisis through dialogue and implement a set of reciprocal steps, the Kiev authorities did not abide by them, encouraged by Western countries.
