Demonstrations against the Corona measures in Saxony: During a “walk”, dozens of demonstrators stormed a university hospital site.

Leipzig – Dozens of opponents of corona measures stormed the premises of the university clinic in Leipzig.

One of the protest marches declared as “walks” was stopped by the police near the clinic.

According to a police spokeswoman, the protest march began on Saturday afternoon near the Monument to the Battle of the Nations.

Several hundred people were involved.

Dozens of them then stormed onto the grounds of the UKL psychiatric clinic, probably in the hope of escaping a police mob.

It is evident that police officers are trying to stop the demonstrators at the entrance to the site.

But apparently they weren't up to the onslaught.

According to a spokeswoman, the police initially stopped the demonstration in order to locate a leader.

The remaining "walkers" were allowed to go after an identity check.

According to the police, around 600 people came together for an unregistered meeting in Zwönitz, Saxony.

260 officers were deployed here after the call became known in messenger services.
