The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement reported by the Saba news agency that the missile force targeted, with a ballistic missile, a large gathering of Saudi regime mercenaries in the Asilan district, and the injury was accurate, pointing to the killing and wounding of more than 40 mercenaries, including leaders, and the destruction of a number of their vehicles.
On the thirteenth of this month, the missile force and the Yemeni air force launched a large-scale offensive operation against large gatherings of Saudi regime mercenaries in Shabwa governorate, killing and wounding dozens of them.
