Penzberg – New year, new coach: Coach Amel Latifovic has resigned from ESV Penzberg.
Klaus Fahrner should create the league.
ESV coach Amel Latifovic resigned during the winter break for personal reasons.
He had only taken over the railway workers last summer.
"We were very satisfied with the way he organized the training," said ESV football boss Michael Scharbert about the resigned coach Latifovic.
On the other hand, the ESV was less satisfied with the sporting record.
The railway workers won only four of 16 games.
Together with four draws, the 16 points meant a place for the Penzbergers in the basement of the district class 3. Only the 1. FC Garmisch-Partenkirchen II and bottom ASV Antdorf left the ESV behind.
A top performer is gone
After the winter break, Klaus Fahrner is supposed to get the coals out of the fire at the Penzbergers - that is, to stay up in the district class.
Most recently, Fahrner coached SG Schäftlarn.
Before that he was on the sidelines at FC Kochelsee-Schlehdorf and TSV Perchting.
However, the new coach has to rebuild ESV a little, since André Tiedt, a top performer in sports, left the club.
The midfielder joined the state league club SV Bad Heilbrunn.
In return, the railway workers were reinforced by Benedikt Weigl and Andreas Winklhofer from the Munich Gymnastics Association.
First test match against Seeshaupt
The railway workers are already preparing.
On
Saturday, February 12th,
there will be the first test match at home against FC Seeshaupt.
On
Saturday, March 26,
in Penzberg in the district derby against ASV Eglfing, it's all about district class points for the first time.
