Following the production of the promotional film "Defending the City" last year, the Police Force will launch "Hong Kong Police Story 2021" this year, which tells the story of the police officers' anti-epidemic, anti-terrorism and national security work when the police faced many challenges in Hong Kong last year.
The 60-minute film was jointly filmed by the Phoenix Satellite TV documentary team and the Police Department. It recorded the work and life of police officers, including the closure of unlicensed bars and the conduct of anti-terrorist drills, as well as the opportunity to conduct in-depth interviews with the National Security Department.
The police launched "Hong Kong Police Story 2021" this year, introducing police officers' work in fighting the epidemic, countering terrorism and maintaining national security over the past year.
"Hong Kong Police Story 2021" premiered at 10:00 last night (29th) on Phoenix TV Chinese Channel.
The program was rebroadcasted on the Hong Kong Police YouTube channel at 10:00 this morning (30th).
The film begins with an anti-terrorist exercise. The anti-terrorist special team displayed live ammunition at MTR stations, carriages and airports to respond to the threat of terrorist attacks.
Li Guihua, Senior Superintendent of the National Security Division of the Police Force, said in an interview, "As a law enforcement officer, we should not be shaken in our beliefs. We should continue to maintain our responsibility and move towards the ultimate goal."

There is also a rare clip of the real process of police officers sweeping unlicensed bars. The police officers read to the customers present that they violated the "gathering restriction order"; reiterated that whether to prosecute will be carefully reviewed, emphasizing that it must be fair and just.
In the clip, a minority police officer also shared that when he was out of work, his father showed a happy smile that he had never had before.
Last year, the police launched a promotional film "Defending the City", directed by Lin Chaoxian, with a total length of 14 minutes.
The then Commissioner of Police, Deng Bingqiang, made his debut in the form of "Easter Eggs", playing a senior police officer of the anti-terrorist special team "Yi Chai", which became the title of the film.
The police dispatched a total of 600 real police officers to participate in the performance, with all the equipment of sea, land and air.
