The DAB also suggested that the government issue official sick leave certificates to the besieged citizens, allowing them to ask their employers for leave, so as not to be considered unexcused absences.
The Labour Department will also issue clear guidelines stating that employers cannot require employees to substitute annual leave for the quarantine period.
