The Nawa’ir defeated Kafrbihm with a score of 45-35 points in the match that brought them together at the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama in the third round of the first-leg of the middle group of the U-16 Basketball League for women under 16 years.
This is the first win for the waterwheels in the league, compared to two losses against Mahreda and Salamiyah, while Kafrbihm suffered its third loss in a row and remained in the last position of the group that is currently led by Mahrada and Salmiya with two victories for each.
The middle group of the women's league includes five clubs: Salamiyah, Mahrada, Kfarbehem, Al-Nawair, and Qatina, which play back and forth between them.
