”, in Amiens, Salouël, Boves, Dury, Glisy and Longueau, according to a press release released on Saturday evening.
On the night of July 16 to 17, during a wild race in Glisy, a 32-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and hit a 20-year-old woman who was crossing the street.
The latter, who had come to watch the race, died shortly after from her injuries.
A 2018 law strengthening the law against motorized rodeos provides for penalties of up to 5 years in prison for their perpetrators, the statement said.
