Princess Charlène was unable to attend the celebrations in Monaco.
She is still being treated in a clinic.
In her absence, Albert's ex-lover was spotted at the party.
Monaco – Princess Charlène's first public appearance after her stay in the clinic?
The palace is still waiting in vain for this.
At the feast of Sainte Dévote on January 27, Prince Albert and the twins Jacques and Gabriella had to represent the palace alone.
Charlène had already missed Christmas in Monaco.
And apparently she can't be in the principality at the end of January either.
The princess should continue to be treated in a clinic in Switzerland.
After dental surgery in South Africa, Charlene was "emotionally and physically exhausted," the palace announced in November.
But a replacement on January 27 was already there.

Instead of Charlène, another familiar face was spotted at the Sainte Dévote celebrations on January 27th.
Prince Albert's ex-lover Nicole Coste attended the ceremony, reports

among others .
Pictures show her dressed all in white with a glittery face mask in church.
The Royals also attended the same service.
Coste had already accompanied the royals with Albert's illegitimate son Eric Alexandre at the Red Cross Ball in Monaco in July 2021 when Princess Charlene was also unable to attend.
It is not clear whether Coste has previously attended the Sainte Dévote festival.

Who is the ex-lover?
Prince Albert had a liaison with Nicole Coste many years ago, which resulted in his son Eric Alexandre Coste.
Prince Albert recognized the now 18-year-old as his child and should get along very well with the young adult.
On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be good blood between Nicole Coste and the princess.
Coste had nothing but bitter words for Charlene of Monaco's situation in September last year.
"I don't care what's going on with her.
Why should I care?
Everything that happens to her is karma,” ex-lover Nicole Coste is said to have said about Charlene to a journalist at a party.
It is said again and again that the marriage between Prince Albert and Charlène should only exist on paper for years.
