More than a year after the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, a young woman of 33, the police have still not obtained decisive elements.

Large-scale excavations carried out for three weeks in the Tarn, with the support of the army, ended on Friday February 4, without the investigators having found a decisive clue or the body of Delphine Jubillar, according to a source close to investigation.

The forces of order and the experts squared several wooded, steep sectors, with hypersensitive radars, metal detectors.

Delphine Jubillar, 33, disappeared on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, in the midst of a health curfew.

Her husband had alerted the gendarmes in the early morning, claiming that she had gone to walk their dogs the night before and had not returned.

Her husband maintains his innocence

The investigators had focused on the surroundings of the farm, following statements from a neighbor of the husband's cell, at the Seysses remand center, near Toulouse.

This detainee told investigators that Cédric Jubillar, the main suspect in this case, had told him that he had buried the body of his wife near a farm in this hamlet.

At the beginning of 2021, the gendarmes had already inspected part of these places and this time deepened the search in this area.

Since the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, her husband has been claiming his innocence, denouncing an unjustified detention.

He is again summoned by his judges on February 11.

His various requests for release were rejected, the justice deeming to have enough evidence against him.

He has been in pre-trial detention since June 18, 2021, the date of his indictment.

At the time of the disappearance, the couple was in the process of divorce, a separation at the initiative of the nurse that Cédric Jubillar had difficulty accepting, according to the investigators.
