Two teenagers got into a chase with police after they stole a car.

Two teenagers stole a gray Opel Meriva near Weißenburg on Thursday.
A police chase ensued, in which one person was injured.
Weißenburg – On Thursday (February 3rd) there was a chase in the district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen* after two young people stole a car.
As reported by the police headquarters in Central Franconia*, it received a call at around 6 p.m. from a man from Langenaltheim whose gray Opel Meriva was stolen.
The police then immediately initiated search measures and were able to locate the vehicle in the Weißenburg area.

All stop signals from the police brought nothing, the two people drove on with the stolen car and touched a pedestrian who was in the Weißenburg market square.
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for precautionary measures.
Another person was able to escape from the car at the last second, but suffered shock.

Weißenburg: perpetrators try to flee on foot
The police later arrested the two youths after they tried to flee on foot.
The two are 16 and 17 years old.
They were temporarily arrested and handed over to the respective legal guardians, as the police headquarters in Central Franconia writes.
The two face criminal charges for multiple crimes.
The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident: "Did you see anything about the said period in the Langenaltheim, Weißenburg and Burgsalach area or were you even injured in this context?
