Who says multiethnic society, necessarily says multiculturalism?

The term “multicultural” means different things in different contexts.
Fellow citizens who come from different parts of the world bring with them different religious beliefs, different culinary cultures, different values, quite simply.
We have to admit that managing living together in a country like France, which is a multi-ethnic country, becomes more complicated.
Dictating beliefs, a lifestyle or an ideology to newcomers would then be the tyranny of the majority

We are in a situation without historical precedent.
Indeed, we have created democracies marked by their ethnic and religious diversity, in which we try to treat all citizens as equals.
In this sense, it is a great experience, as was the French Revolution or the founding of the American Republic.
