British scientists have discovered a new, more virulent mutation of the HIV "AIDS" that had not been previously recognized.
During the study conducted by the British Oxford University, the scientists indicated that they monitored the new strain in the Netherlands, where it spread quietly and over the years without being detected by anyone, and they named it “VB”.
And the Oxford University epidemiologist Christoph Fraser, senior author of the study, explained that the new mutation destroys the immune system and weakens the person's ability to fight infection with other diseases in a way that exceeds the previous mutations of AIDS.
The study confirmed that people with this strain are more likely than others to transmit the virus to others.
