This week the Corona Cabinet ruled that the green mark will be almost completely abolished, and will only apply to events that are defined as high risk, in accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Health.

Those who have been vaccinated three or four times will be entitled to the green label indefinitely, and those who have been vaccinated only twice will be able to receive the mark up to four months after receiving the second dose. Recoverers will also be entitled to a mark for four months from the time they recovered. This was the first Corona cabinet meeting in three weeks.

In addition, the Cabinet extended the regulations at Ben Gurion Airport, according to which it is mandatory to be checked before a flight to Israel and after landing there, until March 7. However, starting next Tuesday, the obligation to perform a corona test before flying from Israel will be abolished for those who are not vaccinated or recovering. It was also determined that anyone who experiences symptoms in the two weeks before the flight to Israel will be able to board the flight subject to the presentation of an institutional antigen test performed after the onset of symptoms, and not subject to PCR testing as required so far.

It was further decided that entry into nursing homes would require an antigen test and that an institution that decides to establish an antigen position as a test condition would receive a partial subsidy from the state.

The duty of unvaccinated workers in welfare, health and education institutions for a bi-weekly examination will continue.
