The winter monsoon is bringing cold weather to the coast of Guangdong.
The weather forecast for Hong Kong today is mainly cloudy, with cold mornings, sunny and dry days during the day, with a maximum temperature of about 18 degrees, mild northerly winds, and stronger easterly winds at night.
The Observatory has issued an amber fire hazard warning, indicating that fires are prone to occur, the public should be careful about fire prevention, and picnickers should also be careful to prevent wildfires.
Looking ahead, the temperature will pick up slightly in the next day or two, with a few showers on Monday, and mostly cloudy in the middle and late next week.
The Transport Department stated that in order to tie in with the mandatory testing arrangements, Lai Chi Kok Road is the slow lane between Nam Cheong Street and Shek Kip Mei Street, the section of Apliu Street between Nam Cheong Street and Shek Kip Mei Street, and the section between Nam Cheong Street and Shek Kip Mei Street. A section of Tai Nan Street between Kip Mei Street has been closed, and the affected bus stops in the above section are temporarily suspended. Motorists are advised to consider switching to other roads.
