Gregorios Natsis (41) from Munich bought a used Maserati.

But on the same day, a garbage truck rammed him - the case ended up in court.

Munich – Gregorios Natsis (41) had bought a real gem: the restaurateur paid around 35,000 euros for his used Maserati GranTurismo (439 hp).

"I picked up the car and parked it in front of the house in the evening," he says.

But that same night there was a serious accident: a garbage truck was not careful in Haidhausen* and rammed the luxury sports car.

"Incredible," says Natsis.

"I had the car for less than a day and it was already damaged." The left side of the Maserati was badly hit by the garbage truck.

After all: The polluter himself called the police* – but later the garbage man got caught up in contradictions.

"Unfortunately, the insurance didn't want to pay," says Natsis.

He was even accused of manipulation.

There was only one way to go.

On February 19, 2020, the restaurateur filed a lawsuit with the district court in Munich* through his lawyer Albert Cermak.

A report shows a total of 18,410.17 euros as repair costs.

In addition, there is an impairment of 1400 euros on the sports car.

Munich: Insurance accused the car owner of manipulation – but he was right in court

"The written preliminary procedure was completed in mid-June 2020," says Cermak.

But then nothing happened for more than ten months!

"Because a vacant judge's position was not filled, the Munich I Regional Court only ordered on April 23, 2021 that the oral hearing should take place on September 28, 2021," reports Cermak.

More than 21 months had passed since the accident in early December 2019.

The reason: lack of judges!

Minister of Justice Georg Eisenreich wants to create 120 new jobs - but according to the judges' association, that's not enough*.

Gregorios Natsis has now won his case.

"I'm still upset that it took so long.

If you park in the wrong place, the ticket comes immediately.”
