The Israeli occupation expands settlement operations in the occupied cities of Jerusalem and Nablus in the West Bank to fragment them geographically and limit the Palestinian presence there to isolated areas amid the silence of the international community towards these aggressive practices that violate international legitimacy resolutions and threaten to eliminate any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The National Bureau for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements of the Palestine Liberation Organization clarified in its weekly report, which was published today on its website, that the occupation authorities announced a plan to establish a settlement on the top of Jabal Subaih, which mediates the villages of Beita, Yatma and Qabalan in Nablus and links the northern and central West Bank, threatening to cut off geographical contiguity. between them.

The report pointed out that the settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, are stepping up their incursions into Palestinian lands between the cities of Jenin and Nablus, in preparation for the establishment of a settlement separating the two cities.

The report indicated that the occupation announced plans to establish 1,620 settlement units to expand three settlements built on Palestinian lands south of occupied Jerusalem, and 900 new units to expand a settlement built on the lands of the French Hill and Al-Isawiya village, east of the city.

The report indicated that the occupation forces forced five Palestinian families to demolish their homes in the towns of Silwan, Issawiya and Jabal Mukaber in Jerusalem, and demolished an agricultural facility in the town of Anata. Deir Nizam village in Ramallah and Aqaba, east of Tubas, and four water wells in Khallet al-Dabaa, Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, while demolition notices were delivered to homes and agricultural and commercial facilities in the villages of Marda, Salfit and Al-Tawana in Hebron.

The report stated that the settlers continue their attacks on the cities and towns of the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces, as they uprooted 60 olive plantations in Khallet al-Daba, south of Hebron, and prevented Palestinian farmers from entering their lands in the Jabal Jalis area east of the city. They uprooted more than 230 fruitful trees, stormed the Joseph's Tomb area in Nablus and carried out provocative tours, while forcing the owners of shops in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, to close them, and closed the road leading to the Masoudia area in the north of the western city. They also destroyed Palestinian agricultural crops in the areas of Hodeidah, Makhoul and Samra in the northern Jordan Valley. It caused great losses to farmers.
