Avalanche in Switzerland overwhelms skiers, who died 68 years old

Tragedy on the snows of the Canton of Valais, on the border with the Ossola Valley.

A 68-year-old from Ossola died in an avalanche in the Goms Valley during a ski mountaineering excursion.

With him there were also other ski mountaineers.

One was recovered by rescuers and hospitalized in Sion, a third was only touched by the avalanche, while the fourth member of the party was not overwhelmed.
