I called for the implementation of real quality control, focused on results and not just on processes, a control that is lacking in our system of care for the elderly.

I had also recommended the creation of an economic observatory of the sector because the State does not have the means to look closely at the accounts of each other.

The relationship between the State and the Ehpad is only at the level of the establishments but without visibility on the groups.

We must also review the conditions for becoming a director of a private nursing home.

This is work that should have come out sooner.

Quality indicators must be made public (staff absenteeism, ratio of caregivers/residents effective presence, rate of consumption of neuroleptics, etc.) which will allow families to exercise better control.
