That's certainly not enough, but Schliersee has at least eight new parking spaces: at the fisherman's car park.
And things are also happening at the Neuhaus train station.
Schliersee - More infrastructure for campers?
The municipality of Schliersee cautiously says yes and has eight parking spaces at the fisherman's car park.
However, this should not be a big trumpet, Schliersee does not really see itself as a destination for this type of holidaymaker.
That became clear last November.
At its purely non-public meeting, the municipal council dealt with a concept that provided for more extensive marketing, for example via online portals and smartphone apps, rejected in this form, as Mayor Franz Schnitzenbaumer (CSU) reported when asked.
A project sponsor would have taken over this marketing, but also wanted to be paid for it by the municipality.
"We didn't want that," says Schnitzenbaumer.
Municipality wants to “gradually expand” offer
The issue has now landed in the main management committee, which recommended that the municipal council include funds in the new budget for the planning and construction of eight parking spaces at the fisherman's car park.
Schliersee does not want to remain completely idle on the mobile home front, but rather “offer holidaymakers a contact point”, as Schnitzenbaumer says.
This also includes a chargeable supply station (electricity, water, waste water) at the train station in Neuhaus, because the corresponding infrastructure, such as a sewer, is available there.
At the fisherman's car park north of the Schliersee, guests will only have electricity.
We want to learn from the experiences and take further steps if necessary.
At the Spitzingsee, the Alpine Railways are creating a mobile home parking space
It cannot be overlooked that the mobile homes have been here for a long time.
If he drives from Fischhausen to Schliersee, I can already see 20," said Schnitzenbaumer in the committee.
"Eight pitches are certainly not enough - not by a long shot." So far there have been parking spaces at the campsite and at Spitzingsee in the municipal area.
The Alpenbahnen want to reserve more space for mobile homes in the Taubensteinbahn car park.
That's it.

In the absence of spaces, travelers park their mobile homes, for example, in the car park on the eastern shore of Schliersee (formerly the Surfstadel) or wherever else they can find space.
Schliersee is currently still hesitant about channeling the electricity, but wants to “proceed step by step” with the designation of parking spaces, as stated in the resolution of the municipal council.
