The coming week is supposed to restore international credibility to a head of government who, since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, has appeared hesitant, discreet, not to say inaudible.
Monday, Olaf Scholz is invited to the White House by Joe Biden before receiving, Wednesday in Berlin, his French and Polish counterparts, Emmanuel Macron and Mateusz Morawiecki, then, Thursday, the representatives of the three Baltic States, bordering the former Soviet giant.
The following week, he will travel to Kiev and Moscow… a week after the head of the Élysée, current president of the EU.
