Al-Furat University announced the postponement of the exams for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022 in the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering affiliated to the university’s branch in Al-Hasakah Governorate due to the practices of the “Qasd” militia linked to the American occupation.
The director of the university branch, Dr. Jamal Al-Abdullah, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the announcement of the postponement of exams comes in light of the “Qasd” militia preventing students and administrative staff from entering the college, which is located in the areas it controls, and denying students to sit for the exam, indicating that an appeal decision will be issued. Exam process in the mentioned college at the appropriate time.
Earlier today, the "Qasd militia" prevented 2,500 university students studying at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering from entering the college, in light of its continued implementation of the policy of ignorance and destruction of educational infrastructure.
