Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov asserted that American media professionals and journalists themselves do not believe the allegations and lies of their country's officials regarding Russia.
In his statement today, Pushkov strongly criticized the US State Department's response to the Associated Press' request for evidence to prove the allegations about "Russia's fabrication of a video of a Ukrainian attack," and said: The words of the US intelligence services provide a beautiful and moving presentation, but it is no wonder that the Associated Press reporter (Matt Lee) allowed himself not to believe yet another lie about the Russians in the State Department briefing, adding that the agency's reporter wanted one thing: evidence, but as always there was none.
Pushkov referred to the Associated Press reporter's report, which referred to the alleged sarin attack in Douma, which, as British journalists discovered, turned out to be a fabrication of the White Helmets, but at the same time London and Washington claimed to publish information about this alleged attack.
And earlier, the US authorities announced that they had declassified information from the intelligence about the preparation of the Russian special services for a special “fabricated” video showing the remnants of a Ukrainian attack on the territory of Russia or on Russian citizens, and then, according to its claim, this video may become a pretext for Russia to start military operations against Ukraine .
