This forum is signed, among others, by Anne-Cécile Mailfert (Women's Foundation), Dominique Guillien and Françoise Brié (National Women's Solidarity Federation), Danielle Bousquet (National Federation of Information Centers on Women's and Family Rights) and Sarah Durocher (Family Planning).

Never has society been so alarmed by feminicides, and yet we continue to count our dead

,” they point out immediately.

"

If society has also taken up the issue of sexual violence, there have never been so few legal convictions,

" they add.

Other paradoxes: “

if indignation is growing in the face of wage inequality, women are still discriminated against. If the concern advances regarding the sharing of domestic tasks, women still take an overwhelming part of it

”. Hence a "

jolt

" demanded of the contenders for the Elysée: they must "

commit to ten ambitious measures to be put in place in the first hundred days of the new term of office

".

First measure: “

invest one billion euros per year to put an end to domestic violence.

By training professionals who may be in contact with women victims of violence, by tripling the places in specialized accommodation and by increasing the funding of associations

”.

Another request: “

Constitutionalize the right to abortion and make access to this right effective for all women on French territory.

Delete the double conscience clause of practitioners (allowing practitioners to refuse to perform an abortion, Ed) and revalue this medical act

”.

The forum calls for "

launching a Grenelle of equal pay to revalue feminized professions and (to) guarantee the presence of women in the sectors of the future, while fighting against forced part-time work and discrimination in companies

".

"

Establish courts and specialized brigades, trained in the fight against violence against women and volunteers

", "

guarantee the education of each child in equality, sexuality and emotional life

", "

fight against the pornographic industry

” are other demands.

These leaders are still pleading for “

extending the compulsory leave of the second parent (paternity leave), upgrading maternity leave without loss of pay and establishing attractive parental leave for both parents

”.

Finally, another complaint: "

create a national coordination of the fight against violence against women under the aegis of the President or the President of the Republic

".
